Biden’s Corruption is a Matter of Public Record

“No one seems to care about Joe Biden anymore,” says Paradigm’s macro expert Jim Rickards.

Even so: “He is the president of the United States, and there are two major wars going on (Ukraine and Gaza) with potential to escalate into nuclear war.

“It just goes to show how trivial politics has become in the U.S.,” Jim adds.

“It’s all about Trump vs. Kamala now… Who cares about Biden?

“But before we say goodbye to Joe, it’s helpful to recall what a corrupt [politician] he was.

“Insiders knew that the ‘Six-pack Joe’ and ‘Amtrak Joe’ personas created for his benefit were false, and that he was more of a nasty punk than an avuncular leader.”

And before you accuse Jim Rickards of mudslinging…

Biden’s corruption is now a matter of public record.

Namely?

A 291-page joint summary from the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committees:

REPORT OF THE IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY OF JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Since it’s been 50 days since Biden dropped out of the campaign — and dropped out of public view? — let’s delve into this report…

Your Rundown for Monday, September 9, 2024...

“Be Good to My Boy”

At the heart of the allegations is what Republicans describe as a “pay-to-play” scheme.

They assert the Biden family received tens of millions of dollars from foreign sources in exchange for access to Joe Biden.

“Overwhelming evidence demonstrates that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family,” the report says.

Here’s just one example:

In 2014, then-Vice President Biden met with Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina. Shortly after, Baturina wired $3.5 million to a firm associated with Hunter Biden.

And Biden's influence was not passive…

  • The committees argue it's “inconceivable” that Joe Biden didn't understand he was part of an effort to enrich his family by abusing his office.

He actively participated in calls and meetings with his son's business partners.

To wit? Biden told Baturina to “be good to my boy” during a phone call.

Hunter Biden, meanwhile, name-dropped his dad to score lucrative deals in Romania… China… Kazakhstan… and Ukraine.

(Egregiously, the report also finds Joe Biden influenced U.S. policy regarding Ukraine to benefit a company his son was involved with.)

The committees add that the Justice Department gave preferential treatment to Hunter Biden during its investigation into his crimes.

At the same time, the Bidens attempted to cover their tracks by using complex financial transactions to launder funds and conceal the President's involvement.

Beyond financial shenanigans, Biden mishandled classified documents after leaving the Vice Presidency by keeping sensitive materials in unsecured locations and sharing them with an unauthorized ghostwriter.

Republicans argue Biden’s pattern of behavior constitutes grounds for impeachment.

They cite precedent from the 2019 impeachment of President Trump, defining “abuse of office” as wielding political clout for personal gain while ignoring national interests.

The report also criticizes the Biden administration for not fully cooperating with the inquiry, suggesting a charge of obstruction could be considered in potential impeachment proceedings.

That said, this report “is believed to have been ready for release back in April, when Democrats were still pretending that Biden was a viable candidate for re-election,” according to an article at The New York Post.

“But fears that as many as 10 lily-livered House Republicans would refuse to impeach the president led to the report being shelved” until late August.

“It’s infuriating that House Republicans waited so long to release their devastating report that President Biden committed impeachable offenses [in] a foreign influence-peddling conspiracy to enrich his family and then defrauded American voters by lying about his abuse of office,” The Post says.

“Even more infuriating is that Biden will not be held accountable by Congress for his malfeasance.”

At the very least, President Joe Biden — and his family’s — corruption is now a matter of public record.

As Jim Rickards says: “Biden was always a liar…

“All that’s left for Biden to do is pardon himself and his crime family members before he rides off into the sunset… Good riddance.”
